It was and felt like I was walking into a space where the BOOKS are the star of the show. The only thing missing is a coffee shop across the street.

Perfect old school neighborhood used book store. Wide range of interesting books. Loved the Maryland history section. Easy street parking. If you are coming from out of the neighborhood, there are lots of local shops, bars, and restaurants to try nearby.

Very nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. They have very cool editions of classics, and we love the little Russian corner. I got some printed cards from Vera Smirnova's collection, and tbey were a holiday favorite. I will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone who loves bookstores.

I am in love with this surprisingly large shop! New and used books line the walls. Decent prices, most used books were $5-7. I picked up four new reads for $24. Huge variety with new releases sprinkled in. This charming shop should be a stop on any book-lover’s itinerary.

It's bigger on the inside! Honestly, I felt like I had walked into a fantasy story. The AC that greeted us was a blessing on such a hot day. The stacks of books of all ages and styles stacked to the ceiling and piled in corners made me feel as if I had snuck my way into a mad wizard's study. And then, just as I thought I had reached the end, a door opened into a shaded courtyard hidden in the center of the building. This shop would fit perfectly in Digon Alley. Yet there was still more, as another door led into an entirely new store filled with yet more books. I am pretty sure the shop keeper is secretly a wizard. I even had the privilege of being ignored by his Familiar, a rather distinguished seslpoint cat. All in all, a magical experience.

Awesome cozy little bookstore in fed hill. Locally owned with great selection of genres, vinyls, vintage cards and more. Street parking all around as well as a small paid lot around the corner

The quintessential book store. It's rare to find bookstores anymore that allow you to meander from room to room and get lost in exploring genre after genre. I could easily spend a couple hours here then enjoy my selections on the bench out front....oh...I actually did!

Great bookstore in Baltimore - with a solid selection of all different genres of books: political, fiction, theatre - an especially large section dedicated to Russia studies, cookbooks, stories, and ornaments - and also children’s books, teen books, postcards, vinyl records, etc… They even have a small selection of current new release fiction. Prices are very good. I got five books for under $30. The proprietor is friendly and helpful. Worth the visit while you’re in town.
